When we began work with the ATM Group at LaSalle Bank to redesign their ATMs, our biggest challenge was to maintain consistency in the types of ATMs and ATM signs deployed in the field. With so many ATMs in the field in so many different types of locations, and working with so many different manufacturers, maintenance crews, painting crews, and sign companies, the possibility of inconsistency was very high.
We began by creating a comprehensive ATM Standards and Guidelines binder with visual depictions of the many the ATM products available for various situations. The ATM Group was able to easily distribute this printed and PDF brochure to branch managers, regional managers, and customer service facilitators to provide a catalog of available ATM products, accessories, and signage that fit nearly every need but maintained a united look despite the variations.
In addition, D2Bank created an ATM Notices/Capabilities Standards binder which included hundreds of various appliqués, such as Fee Notices, designed and formatted to fit well with the many models and sizes of ATMs in the field.
All of these projects maintained the brand integrity and consistency of LaSalle Bank throughout the system on materials which were part of the public’s awareness of the quality of the business and its products, services and people.
